WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You’ll demonstrate a real passion for data and will be a creative problem solver who likes to challenge norms and bring new ideas to the table. You’ll have enterprise level experience involving multiple customers, departments and locations and will come from a data engineering/software engineering background. You’ll have strong people leadership skills and will enjoy building high performing teams.
Also, we’re looking for the following:
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and coach colleagues
- Good working knowledge of data engineering and technology
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
- MS Azure tech stack (Databricks, Data Factory, Azure DevOps) would be an added bonus
Responsibilities:
WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
Reporting to the Data and Analytics Practice Manager, you’ll lead a team of Data Engineers to design, build, and maintain the Data Lakehouse at Novuna. You’ll play an integral role in taking our existing data capabilities and solutions on a journey to the next level to enable the business to make more happen with data.
SOME OF YOUR KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Leadership of a team of Data Engineers, including coaching and mentoring
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure the provision of outstanding data solutions across Novuna
- Supporting the business to glean meaningful insights and inform decision making
- Supporting the team with project work, including building and maintaining Data pipelines
