Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst to join the Corporate Risk Data Management & Governance organization in supporting the enterprise data defect process for the Compliance and Financial Crimes Risk Management sub-domains. The role will primarily focus on collaboration and coordination and will require strong organizational and multi-tasking skills as well as collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the efforts related to managing the enterprise data defect process for the Compliance and Financial Crimes Risk Management sub-domains. This will include collaborating with the Enterprise Data Deficiency Management team to enter and manage all defects identified across Risk Management.
  • Additionally, the role will meet with representatives from across the Risk Management organization to collect and enter data defects, as well as coordinate and driving remediation efforts.
  • Act in a leadership role on the team to review defect documentation to ensure the evidence of remediation supports the conclusion and will be clear to various audiences including senior management, audit, and regulators.
  • Partner with a diverse team in various locations across the US and India to manage the data defect management process for Corporate Risk
  • Design and manage reporting to various audiences.
  • Delegate work to more junior team members in an advisory capacity. Monitor capacity and workloads to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and project management skillsets are crucial.
  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring Indepth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are Longterm, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions.
  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy.
