Lead Data Scientist – AI/ML Specialist

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Expert to lead our artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and the ability to apply them to solve complex problems, as well as strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning, Time Series forecasts and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge in graph databases, with a proven track record of leading AI projects from conception to deployment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Educational Background:
• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise:
• Extensive experience with LLMs, NLP, deep learning, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, spaCy).
• Expertise in ML Ops and machine learning operationalization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and versioning tools.
• Knowledge of generative AI concepts and applications.
• Strong background in graph databases, with a demonstrated ability to apply these technologies to real-world problems.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Proven track record of leading AI projects from conception to deployment, demonstrating the ability to deliver impactful solutions on time and within scope .
• Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of tackling complex and ambiguous challenges with innovative solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
• Attitude to act as a technology scout, continuously exploring new technologies and advancements.

• Develop and Implement Models:
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable machine learning solutions leveraging LLMs, NLP, deep learning, and graph databases.
• Lead AI/ML Projects:
• Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of AI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Drive innovation by integrating state-of-the-art AI technologies and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, including Generative AI.
• Collaboration and Integration:
• Work closely with data engineers to design data pipelines that support machine learning workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts, to integrate AI-driven features into products.
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship:
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to the AI/ML team.
• Foster a collaborative environment to facilitate knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team.
• Communication and Documentation:
• Present data insights to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts in an accessible manner.
• Ensure high-quality documentation of AI methodologies, processes, and outcomes.
