Description:
COMPETITIVE SALARY PLUS BENEFITS
Are you a data science visionary ready to steer a team toward innovation and insight?
We are seeking an experienced and problem-solving Lead Data Scientist to spearhead our data science initiatives. In this role, you’ll be a jack-of-all-trades-part strategist, part data whisperer. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement a data science roadmap that aligns with business goals, ensuring projects hit the mark both on time and with top-tier quality. With your team, you’ll dive into the depths of machine learning and predictive analytics, crafting models that solve the toughest of business conundrums. From data gathering and feature engineering to deploying scalable models in production, you’ll be the mastermind behind every step of the process.
Communication is key-so is collaboration. You’ll partner up with cross-functional teams, transforming their data needs into smart solutions. Whether you’re presenting findings to technical experts or non-technical execs, you’ll make sure that insights are crystal clear. You’ll also work closely with data engineers to build and maintain our data infrastructure and pipelines, keeping our operations running smoothly while ensuring data quality and governance standards are as watertight as possible.
But it’s not all about keeping the ship steady. We need you to innovate and experiment. You’ll stay up to date with the latest trends in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, encouraging your team to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Testing new algorithms, exploring fresh methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement will be second nature to you.
Does this sound like your dream job?! We’re looking for someone with a solid educational background (a Degree or Master’s Data Science or a related field), and at least 3-4 years of experience in the world of data science and machine learning. You’ll need advanced Python, R, and SQL skills, along with deep expertise in machine learning frameworks and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. If you’ve led a data science team before, mentored others, and delivered complex projects, you’re already ticking most of the boxes. Experience with big data, unstructured data, and MLOps is the icing on the cake.
