Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead DBA & Cloud Migration Analyst to join our team remotely for a project focused on cloud migration and database administration.
In this role, you will lead the planning, installation, configuration, and management of DB clusters, ensuring optimal performance and availability. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, conducting stress tests, and troubleshooting issues with databases.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration and cloud migration
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong knowledge of SQL architecture, processes, and tuning for optimal performance
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting databases, including Oracle RDBMS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Amazon DynamoDB, MySQL, MariaDB, and Apache Cassandra
  • Good understanding of Linux
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, install, and configure DB clusters, including data sizing estimation and identifying hardware requirements
  • Monitor cluster availability and performance using tools
  • Export data into different data formats and back up and restore data to secure the system in the event of failure
  • Conduct stress tests and interpret performance results
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and troubleshoot issues with databases
  • Lead and mentor a team of DBA analysts and cloud migration specialists
