The Customer Experience (CX) team at Covestro is responsible for developing innovative solutions to improve the digital customer experience.
In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €87,200/year plus variable component and €105,900/year plus variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

You can look forward to the following tasks and responsibilities:

• As a technical manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising our highly qualified development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of high-quality software solutions, always applying the latest industry standards.
• One of your core tasks is to work closely with various stakeholders. You will understand their requirements and skillfully translate them into innovative technical solutions.
• To ensure the highest quality of our products, you will conduct regular code reviews, develop effective test strategies and drive automation.
• In your position, you will also be responsible for communicating and maintaining technical standards, processes and methods. You will contribute your expertise to important architecture decisions and evaluate new technologies in terms of their possible applications.
• Another important aspect of your role is the continuous improvement of our processes. You identify optimization potential and promote initiatives that increase the productivity and efficiency of the team. In addition, you will actively contribute to the professional growth of your team members by acting as a coach and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

You can convince us with the following profile:

• For this position, you ideally have a university degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field. Alternatively, you can convince us with equivalent professional experience that demonstrates your expertise in this area.
• We are looking for an experienced individual with several years of practical experience in software development. During this time, you have continuously expanded your specialist knowledge and now have in-depth knowledge of Angular, Java with Spring Boot as well as TypeScript and Node.js.
• Your expertise also extends to the area of cloud technologies. You have practical experience of working with cloud platforms such as AWS. This knowledge will enable you to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
• As an experienced developer, you are very familiar with modern software development practices. You have worked in agile teams and know the benefits of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). You also have a solid understanding of DevOps principles.
• With this combination of technical know-how and practical experience, you are ideally equipped to succeed in our innovative environment and enrich our team with your expertise.
