We’re looking for a Lead Developer to join our Platform Core Team in Helsinki, where you’ll play a key role in improving how we work and building tools that empower developers. You’ll help ensure our cloud infrastructure and development processes run smoothly, all while working with modern tools in an environment that values continuous learning. Our hiring process consists of two interview rounds. First, you’ll have an introduction interview, followed by a technical pre-task. In the final stage, you’ll meet with the team to review your pre-task submission and dive deeper into technical discussions, as well as team and culture fit.

As a Lead Developer in Platform Engineering, you will take charge of cloud infrastructure and developer platform development, working closely with a team of 9-10 talented engineers. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, Platform Core, you will play a critical role in automating cloud configurations, CI/CD tooling, and developer workflows to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Lead infrastructure and platform automation: Drive automation of cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and developer portal flows.
Enhance developer experience (DevEx): Design and optimize tooling and processes to improve developer efficiency across the organization.
CI/CD and networking automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and automated networking solutions.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including development and production operations teams, to implement scalable solutions.
What are we looking for?
We’re seeking someone who thrives on collaboration, takes initiative, and enjoys solving challenges with a proactive mindset. Having a strong foundation in cloud development or infrastructure engineering, along with relevant AWS certifications and senior-level experience, will help you succeed in this role. But beyond that, strong communication skills, an open mind, and a team-oriented approach are just as important as technical expertise. Expertise in cloud infrastructure: Deep understanding of AWS cloud and network architectures.
Infrastructure automation: Hands-on experience with automating cloud configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
Cloud security and compliance: Familiarity with securing cloud environments and maintaining compliance standards.
Programming and scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform). Bonus points for front-end programming or Go experience.
We offer a hybrid working model, with flexibility to work remotely. However, we prefer that the chosen candidate is willing to visit our Helsinki office 1-2 days a week to foster collaboration and team engagement.
