Description:

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Systems Engineering experience including understanding of Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) with MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Experience in Diagnostics, tools and methods.
  • Experience of automotive communication protocols and hardware (Flexray, CAN, CAN-FD, LIN).
  • Experience delivering embedded software in a real time control environment.
  • Strong systems and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to drive and complete tasks independently, task-oriented, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a complex and ambiguous environment.
  • Positive and passionate, good team player, proven record of leading and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities:

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A SET OF SUBSYSTEM/FUNCTION TESTING AND VALIDATION ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:-

  • Leading the development and delivery of diagnostic specification and functionality throughout whole product development lifecycle in collaboration with our system, hardware and controls engineers.
  • Ensuring all legislative diagnostic requirements and standards are met throughout product development lifecycle.
  • Developing diagnostic documentation including Part 1, Part 2 and End of Line (EOL) test specifications.
  • Delivering verified diagnostic monitors in line with new software and hardware product changes.
  • Creating and running feature test cases at the vehicle level for the charging and control systems, as well as SiL, HiL, PiL, and MiL systems.
  • Developing software requirements and raising knowledge of MISRA C and Embedded Coder for the creation of production code requires cross-functional and cross-team collaboration.
