JOB DESCRIPTION
A Lead Digital Project Manager will manage end-to-end delivery of multiple programmes or projects in parallel that are high risk, or which have significant business impact, that will need to be delivered on time, under strict scope and cost constraints.
You’ll ensure programmes or projects are commercially viable and deliver value, considering impacts and opportunities for existing services.
You’ll manage risks, issues, and dependencies (external and internal) for complex programmes and coach other members of the Digital Project Management community to help them manage risks and issues effectively.
You’ll manage team dynamics, leading by example, demonstrating the right behaviours. Deal with conflict and helps establish a positive team culture.
You’ll manage stakeholder relationships at the most senior level, helping resolve strategic risks, issues and conflicts.
You’ll help set priorities for the programme and help and support other members of the Digital Project Manager community to navigate complex stakeholder environment.
You’ll manage supplier relationships at a strategic level, helping resolve complex or high-risk commercial issues and ensuring value for money for the department.
You’ll line manage, mentor, coach and support the senior digital project managers and help identify development and growth opportunities for them and the wider Delivery community.
