Description:
1) Maintain and ensure saftey of dive teams & ensure that the diving operation is carried out as per SOP & regulations
2) Oversee diving operations to ensure that their execution complies with the legal requirements of HSE, SS511 & IMCA regulations
3) Ensure all diving equipment is adequate & in good operation condition.
4) Study through records & reports to validate their compliance with company & IMCA/SS511 standards.
5) To standby Diver as and when is required.
6) Lead & provide guidance and training to other &junior divers.
7) Conduct periodic testing of commercial diving equipment to industry & manufacturer regulations.
8) Maintenance & cleaning of life support diving equipment.
9) Carry out air purity testing of all breathing gases.
10) Carry out periodic inspections & preventative maintenance measures.
11) Maintainance of stores area & work shop for a hazard free work environment.
12) Support commercial diving operations by assisting with mobilisations of air diving equipment
