YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering scope on multidisciplinary energy projects and ensure that you are on track in regard to time, cost, and quality.
• Lead the electrical engineering team on the project and cooperate closely with other engineering disciplines and the project manager on the project.
• Ensures that the deliverables from the discipline meet the contract specifications.
• Lead and participate in the electrical design by performing electrical studies and calculations for HV, MV and LV systems.
• Lead system and area engineering
• Develop, optimize and standardize technical solutions within HV and MV systems.
• Perform engineering specifications and technical datasheets for HV and MV equipment such as: Power transformers, shunt reactors, pre-inserted resistors, earthing auxiliary transformers, neutral earthing resistors/reactors, GIS breakers and cables.
• Provide input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during execution phase.
• Provide input for and participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning.

• A background as Marine Engineer, B.Sc. /B.Eng. Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. Electrical Engineering or similar
• Have extensive experience as lead engineer and possess strong project management skills.
• Relevant experience as lead engineer in electrical design within onshore/offshore substations, electrification, power plants, oil and gas, power-t-X or similar industries
• Solid knowledge of HV, MV and LV design and equipment, specification and requirements of electrical studies and calculations
• Have strong oral and written skills in English and know how to communicate with different stakeholders
