We are actively looking for a Lead Electronics Engineer to join our Engineering team, based in Cambridge.
The Lead Electronics Engineer will help develop world-class electronic products across both Automotive and Motorsport sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of electronics hardware for automotive and motorsport products.
- circuit design and simulation, schematic and PCB design, component selection, new technology research, prototyping and testing, PCBA bring-up, EMC testing, and project end-to-end.
- Design verification and supporting design validation testing.
- Appropriate documentation of the design to allow long term support of the product.
- Working in multi-disciplinary teams to create world leading solutions.
- PCB design and layout, producing necessary assembly drawings/documentation.
- Identify and recommend product improvements to improve technical performance.
- Engineering test equipment design and support Production and DV test equipment.
- Supporting Head of Electronics with design process development and recruitment
- Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
- Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.
