As the Lead Email Production Manager, working in Direct to Customer Communications, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders throughout the business to create, build and deploy email campaigns as required whilst strategically planning how we can innovate through technology to push our email and mobile capability further.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and lead of Email and Mobile planning across Campaigns, GHS, CRM including Clubcard statement, Tesco Group and Group comms.
  • Ownership of the technology roadmap which includes leading on key personalisation initiatives in collaboration with technology.
  • Working with our Data & CRM team to facilitate the orchestration of relevant, high performing customer journeys.
  • Lead on innovation and unlocking data capability to enable us to further innovative with personalisation. This includes managing the external agency relationships, incorporating our live personalisation technology platform and exploring new direct marketing channels.
  • Ownership and lead of all test & learn and innovation planning including reporting to strategise and optimise performance of Email comms ongoing and unlocking new opportunities
  • Ensuring Email Marketing Executives write technically excellent email briefs and manage the creative process and build through to QA
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to create, build and deploy email campaigns as required.
  • Lead Email team to utilise best in class coding techniques, defining and scoping audience targeting and reporting
  • Using channel expertise to offer insight and direction to comms planning and other stakeholders
  • Accountability for Email performance and effectiveness, including reporting and attribution
