This position can be based out of the Philadelphia area (our HQ is in Plymouth Meeting, PA), or the NYC area.
We follow a hybrid work model:
For candidates local to the Philadelphia area: 3 days/ week in office.
For candidates outside of a reasonable commute distance: 3 weeks remote, 1 week in office once per month for our collaboration week.

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Principal or Staff level Mobile Engineer to help architect our Mobile Apps for the next 2-3 years of growth. Ideal candidate should’ve designed/architected mobile apps with high quality, stability, and lower latency.

EXPERIENCE IN ONE OF THESE LANGUAGES: OBJ-C, SWIFT, KOTLIN, OR REACT NATIVE

• 10+ years of professional mobile development experience
• Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and to keep projects on schedule.
• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed and innovative, you build trust and are biased towards action in fast-paced environments.
• You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure. You care about innovation.
• Additional knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design maintainable APIs is a plus.

• Design and architect our mobile app to scale for > 5MM active users.
