Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE AT BAXTER
This position will focus on delivering a broad platform of Health – I.T. and clinical workflow automation solutions to healthcare facilities to improve outcomes for patients and their caregivers. The Lead Engineer will play an integral role in completing Care Communications and Digital Health projects. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform the technical implementation of Baxter Care Communications products.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Linux and Windows-based server configuration; monitoring and troubleshooting; software, hardware, and network implementation activities; advanced IT tasks (network design and topology, network integrations, etc.)
- This role works closely with other members of the Implementation Team including Project Managers, Solution Architects, and IT Sales Executives to ensure customer satisfaction through the implementation process
- Organize and lead multiple project implementations in a healthcare environment. Lead network architecture, system fail-over, and other technical system design discussions with customer IT, MIS or biomed departments, installation contractors, and other trades as required
- Perform configuration of Baxter Care Communications & Clinical Workflow Solutions This primarily entails installing and configuring applications on servers, proprietary devices/hardware, and WIFI connected smartphones, configuring system networks, and working with the customer’s wired and wireless infrastructure to complete implementations
- Provide oversight, training, and direction to internal and external teams as assigned during implementations to ensure installations meet CWS requirements. Lead small internal/contracted teams if assigned/needed
- Use network measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment and networked elements
- Lead team in resolving technical troubleshooting to resolution throughout the implementation process
- Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained while considering business unit goals and fiscal responsibilities inclusive of utilization and billability guidelines.
- Complete, post, and update system, network, and server documentation in compliance with SOP, work instructions to ensure successful support of the system
