  • High proficiency with MS Suite is necessary; exposure to Candy or Expert Estimator is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

As part of our Growth & Strategy Team , you will lead the way in securing major water/wastewater infrastructure projects worth up to $150 million across Australia and New Zealand . As a seasoned Lead Estimator, ideally based out of our North Ryde Office in Sydney but open to location , you can leverage your expertise and take the lead to ensure that estimates are accurately and competitively prepared and delivered, with a clear understanding of strategies, methodologies, and risk profiles. You will have the opportunity to lead several in-direct reports for project-specific tenders.
You will report to the Lead Estimator and collaborate closely with some of the industry’s top professionals to build strong working relationships within the business.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the estimation preparation for the workstream and lead team members to ensure effective delivery of tender submissions and operational estimation activities across all tenders.
  • Review and analysis of RFT packages and subcontractor quotations.
  • Negotiate and influence business solutions related to costing, budgeting, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare project bid status reports, provide/ implement tender solutions, and ensure contract specifications and documentation compliance.
  • Assist the Estimating Manager in supervising, coaching, and mentoring members of the estimating team.
