Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to support the KC-46 Tanker Aircraft at Travis Air Force Base (TAFB). This is a customer facing position that will be based in Fairfield California and will have responsibilities at Travis Air Force Base (TAFB), Fairfield, California.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Minimum 7 years of aircraft refueling maintenance experience
- Ability to support on-call work during all shifts as required
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a passport for international travel
- At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
- At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License desired.
- Previous experience working with KC-46, KC-135, KC-10 or 767 products is desirable
TYPICAL EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years of related work experience, 14 years of related work experience, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Will be leading a team of 7 Field Service Representatives.
- Provides technical field support of company products.
- Assists with troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems coverage.
- Resolves maintenance and operational issues.
- Interprets technical documents and monitors product performance.
- Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
- Develops and conducts ad hoc training.
