Description:
LEAD FINANCE ANALYST
This Lead Finance Analyst will support the Commercial Banking Operations.
This role will have general Finance and FP&A responsibilities with respect to Commercial Banking Operations expenses and efficiency initiatives, inclusive of the following:
- Forecasting/budgeting
- Month end activities
- Financial Reporting
- Tracking and monitoring efficiency initiatives
- Trending and analysis of underlying expense drivers
- Delivery of expense insights to business and financial leadership

- BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills. Knowledge and understanding of Essbase Finance tools for reporting and analysis
- Experience with financial forecasting, planning, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented with focus timely and accurate execution.
- Proven relationship builder - able to consult with business partners of all levels
- Ability to communicate effectively, translate and present financials, projects and data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to join Wholesale Operations Finance team providing direct support for the Commercial Banking business.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with senior business leaders and other key stakeholders to drive overall financial performance, metric improvement and achievement of planned expectations and initiatives for CB Operations
- Ensure efficient and effective execution of finance strategy
- Recommend opportunities to senior business leaders that help achieve business objectives
- Enhance framework to help deliver key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting
- Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced teammates
