Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to support Home Lending Financial Planning and Analysis. This position will be part of Home Lending Finance team and the broader Consumer Lending Finance group working with business line finance partners to understand the underlying business drivers of the financials impacting forecast, budget, and moth-end variances. In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance
  • Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
  • Manage the review of financial results against budget and forecast, ensuing variances are understood and appropriately communicated within Home Lending and Consumer Lending Finance teams.
  • Manage expense management routines across Home Lending including communication, reporting, and variance attribution.
  • Lead projects to support the advancing / improving financial reporting, including managing deliverables for key strategic projects such as PowerBI and the Home Lending driver database.
  • Assist in the development and review of monthly forecasts, annual plans, and other ad-hoc forecasts.
  • Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
  • Support communication of financial results for inclusion in monthly business reviews, monthly regulator updates, and quarterly investor relations reporting.
  • Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
  • Ensure the compliance with requirements under the Governance & Oversight Framework including maintaining updated procedures and evidencing RCSA controls; provide guidance and support to the department in completion of all required deliverables.
  • Provide leadership by assessing impact of management reporting deficiencies; communicate and facilitate the discussion with line of business finance teams for resolution; track and document the resolution implementation cycle from report owner perspectives.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
