Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to serve as the principal expert on interest rate and other key information that is captured, manipulated (like month average daily rates), stored, forecasted and propagated throughout enterprise use cases. This includes consumption by forecast, loan and deposit systems. The Lead Finance Analyst will develop subject matter expertise on existing rate processes and will be a leader as the existing process undergoes a generational change with a platform update. This position will include a Product Owner role under the company’s agile framework. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with many areas of the institution, while learning new technical skills as new platform is developed.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance
  • Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
  • Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
  • Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation
  • Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
  • Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide, including establishment of new platform
  • Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Understand existing process and rate application
  • Enhance existing production and control process to reduce risk
  • Actively participate in the creation of new rate platform
  • Lead team as a Product Owner
  • Assume Model Ownership of Rates Model
