Lead Full Stack Software Engineer - Hybrid

Ecolab is looking for an experienced full stack developer to be part of a dynamic team that’s at the forefront of technological innovation. We’re leveraging cutting-edge AI to create novel solutions that optimize operations for our clients, particularly within the restaurant industry. Our work is transforming how restaurants operate, making them more efficient and sustainable.
This role can be in our St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL office and will follow company’s hybrid policy. No remote option available for this role at this time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years’ experience; or no degree and 12 years combined education and equivalent work experience
• 8 years of experience in full stack development or similar position
• Solid programming skills in .Net Core and Python, React and SQL relational / No-SQL document databases
• Proficiency in utilizing various IDEs such as Jupyter notebooks or Visual Studio code
• Experience in Azure Services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps and Azure Data Directory
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience with early-stage product development
• Proven track record of deploying products in dynamic environments
• Interest in collaborating with partners outside of core team / organization (including SMEs in computer Vision AI)
• Ability to wear multiple hats and plug into different roles as product develops
• Desire to be in a fast-moving, agile environment with willingness to adjust quickly
• Openness to experimental approaches typical of tech start-ups
• Willingness to learn new skills and technical languages as needed

• Lead the development and implementation of scalable and high-performance applications using .NET Core or Python
