Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Sc. or higher degree in geology, earth sciences, or related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in CPT data acquisition and drill-based field investigations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Eligible to register as a Professional Geoscientist with EGBC.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record and a vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to job sites within the Prairies or BC for short trips.
- Interest in both field and office work.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience working on projects for clients in the construction industry
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask on multiple projects at once.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of technicians in the CPT department.
- Carry out drill-based site investigations which include, but are not limited to soil logging during drilling, drill supervision, and performing electric cone penetration testing (CPT).
- Analysis of CPT/Dilatometer data.
- Preparation of technical reports.
- Oversee departmental budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards within the department.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members as needed.
