In September 2024, NRMA Parks and Resorts will open Turtle Sands, a new nature resort on the shores of the globally significant Mon Repos turtle nesting beach near Bundaberg, Queensland. The property will be the only place on Australia’s mainland where you can stay metres from one of nature’s most incredible experiences: turtles nesting and hatching.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager. You will ensure the highest possible standards of efficiency in the Housekeeping Department. You will be hands-on and assist in providing daily coordination to housekeeping and task allocation. You will complete a range of tasks relating to park housekeeping, including:

  • Ensure accommodation and venue areas are cleaned and serviced to NRMA Housekeeping Standards.
  • Organising, supervision, training and recruitment of staff (when required).
  • Planning of daily room requirements, servicing, pre-arrival checks.
  • Observation of the park cleanliness and facilities.
  • Maintain good communication with other departments and your housekeeping Team.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels and ordering in collaboration with the Park Manager
  • Be receptive and proactive in solutions to guest feedback
