Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Candidates must:

  • 5+ years Infrastructure management experience in a similar size organisation.
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Current Microsoft security certifications (such as SC-300,SC-100)

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Engineering
  • Experience with health care or other regulated organization
  • Industry recognised security certifications (Security+, ISC2)

Professional knowledge, competencies, and skills

  • Experience in management of highly available VMware environments
  • Experience in working with Dell hardware (laptops, servers, and storage) and solutions
  • Experience in managing and securing Microsoft cloud identity and application platforms (Entra Id, Office 365, Entra Connect) in line with recommended best practise
  • On Premise Active Directory management and performance monitoring
  • Experience in standard Windows Server management (File & Print)
  • Endpoint XDR and security solution management
  • Endpoint management in a hybrid environment (SCCM & Intune)

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Install, secure, maintain, manage, and upgrade the company’s highly available infrastructure
  • Produce and maintain documentation of applications, using industry best practice
  • Plan, design, document, communicate and implement system changes on projects to upgrade and maintain the application infrastructure and enhance IT systems
  • Ensure all changes to the ICT application environment are assessed, approved implemented and reviewed in a controlled manner
  • Ensure ICT applications are capable of delivering the service level requirements in terms of Availability, Capacity, Reliability, Security, Maintainability
  • Take an active role in the development of security and access policies for all environments (on premise & cloud)
  • Responsible for the deployment and security of end user devices (desktop & mobile) to ensure client OS upgrades are compatible with existing application environment
  • Monitor and report on infrastructure, performance, configuration, and capacity to ensure ICT function can meet organisational requirements
  • Providing training & mentoring to other team members
  • Must be willing to take part in an On-Call rota agreement across a range of ICT services
  • Status reporting on areas of responsibility to the organizational CISO
  • In carrying out all duties, the employee must ensure that all Hospital procedures, Health & Safety policies, and legislative requirements are met at all time
