DETAILS
- Department: Cath Lab
- Schedule: Full Time 7a-3:30p and participation in the on call rotation
- Hospital: Ascension St Francis Hospital

REQUIREMENTS
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of interventional imaging services.
- Ensure quality imaging, patient care and work flow.
- Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
- Serve as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.
- Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching.
- Provide input to staff performance evaluations.
- Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
