DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Lead Java developer in Cybersecurity Engineering to lead the development of our highly scalable and comprehensive access management platform for desktop and mobile applications for both our institutional clients and retail customers.

What you’ll do in the role: #LI-FT1 #BPTECH

Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.

  • The candidate will be responsible for the engineering, development, integration of cybersecurity systems.
  • By working collaboratively with the team designs, engineers, and enhances authentication, authorization, and identity infrastructure using both commercial products and home grown solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
  • Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
  • Solid Java knowledge, including experience with popular frameworks such as Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Security)
  • Experience in building multi-tiered applications
  • Experience with Python 3 and shell scripting
  • Excellent problem solving skills, in particular a methodical approach to dealing with problems across distributed systems
  • Strong verbal and written skills required to interact with a global teams and customers
  • Ability to work with customers, gather requirements, and own the task of finding solutions
  • Ability to mentor and coordinate the work of less experienced colleagues
  • At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
