YOUR MISSION

We are now seeking an experienced Lead Java Engineer to drive the ongoing development and enhancement of our osapiens HUB. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture, guiding the team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that empower our platform. Join us in pushing the boundaries of innovation and making a significant impact on our enterprise-grade application development platform.
The osapiens HUB is a modern, enterprise-grade application development platform. It provides everything needed to build powerful business applications in a “serverless” fashion. This means users don’t need to worry about managing infrastructure, scaling, fail-over, or backups. Instead, users can focus on their highest value activities: implementing business logic and crafting beautiful user interfaces.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Comprehensive experience with Java/JavaEE, Spring
  • Database design such as Cassandra, ScyllaDB or other NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of web services development and integration
  • Experience in Automated Testing
  • Distributed System experience
  • OpenSearch or ElasticSearch
  • Proficiency in the Git version control system
  • Agile mindset and initial DevOps experience

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of scalable, robust Java-based software solutions in the backend domain
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and define technical specifications
  • Lead the design and planning of system architecture, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing performance, scalability, and security
  • Develop high-quality Java services and business logic components that form the backbone of our software products
  • Implement best practices, write clean, reusable code, and contribute to continuous codebase improvement
  • Run code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure development work meets high standards of quality and performance
  • Lead in an agile development team, running of the sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives for effective project execution
