Description:

We are looking for a Material Handler Lead to join our Christchurch team!
As our Material Handler Lead, you will implement, maintain, and promote the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures and those associated with electrostatic sensitive devices.

Your Challenge

  • Comply with all Company and personal Health and Safety requirements.
  • Comply with all Quality Management System requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of Stores housekeeping.
  • Provide support for all functions Physical or administrative within the Materials Handling Department including dispatch during holiday or sickness periods.
  • Provide a proactive and rapid stores issue, receipt, and related query resolution service.
  • Support the inventory-checking program, which may include full physical stock checks, to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Implement, maintain, and promote the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures and those associated with electrostatic sensitive devices.
  • May process stores receipts and promptly process return of rejected goods.
  • Ensure kitting accuracy to defined levels.
  • Prepare and process spares orders for dispatch in line with company procedures.

What You Bring

  • Ideally have experience in a Stores related role, a basic understanding of stores, packing and manufacturing operations and the ability to demonstrate competence to successfully carry out the requirements of the role.
  • Computer literate, Email, Teams, and Internal Manufacturing system.
