Description:
Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is entering in to the next phase of delivering a Medical Examiner service to the East Surrey community following the successful roll out to the community over the last two years. We are now looking for applicants for our Lead Medical Examiner Officer position , who are up to the challenge of leading the newest medical specialty, working alongside a diverse team of colleagues from both primary and secondary care, and with the ambition to use the service to drive improvements in care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day organisation and management of the Medical Examiner Service and Bereavement Service, as we continue to provide a seamless pathway for bereaved relatives
Supporting the Trust Lead Medical Examiner, Medical Examiners and managing the Medical Examiner Officers the postholder will lead on further developing the Medical Examiner’s Service. This will include the development of policies and processes in support of that development.
