About the role
As the Lead Medical Office Assistant at Sprout Family Health, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to provide flexible, individualized care for families, working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our family-centered practice. Your expertise will be crucial in managing patient flow, coordinating appointments, and delivering exceptional service that enhances patient experiences, all while addressing the unique needs of each family member. This position is full of room for growth, allowing you to implement and improve processes that enhance patient care and operational efficiency, and make a meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for:
Patient Care and Communication: You’ll provide warm and professional patient greetings, manage inquiries across phone, email, and in-person channels, and coordinate with our Health Navigator for seamless patient support.
Clinic Operations: You’ll own scheduling for our multidisciplinary team, manage electronic health records, coordinate diagnostic tests and referrals, and conduct meet-and-greet calls for new members.
Team Leadership: You’ll train and mentor team members, collaborate with clinical staff to enhance patient flow and clinic efficiency, and help develop policies and procedures.
Administrative Support: Coordinate special services like developmental checks and DEXA body composition scans, manage inventory of medical supplies, support new service implementation, and work cross-functionally with the marketing team.
