Lead Midwife - Intrapartum Care

To provide professional leadership for midwifery ensuring that safe and effective quality of care is delivered within the resources available while ensuring that the care environment is organised to meet the needs of the patient, enhancing their experience and supporting staff to meet the Divisional and Trust objectives through: * The provision of visible, authoritative professional leadership support and direction within line management responsibility for Labour Ward * maternity services ensuring standards of practice and care are set and maintained * Ensuring that safe, high quality clinical services are delivered in line with national policy, trust priorities, available evidence and patient care needs * Lead programmes of improvement work related to safety, experience and quality * play an active role in the service achieving the outcomes * working with Directorate Teams to optimise experience and outcomes of care through * service and workforce efficiency, productivity and effectiveness We understand the importance of balancing work and home life.
