You might currently be managing a smaller supermarket or convenience store or already in a team leadership role. You’ll be working in one of our busiest and most complex stores, reporting directly to the Store Manager and leading a team of managers. It’s fast-paced. Every day will bring unexpected challenges. You won’t always have the answers – that’s fine – but by solving short-term problems and making medium-term changes, you’ll support your team to keep delivering.
Our Nightshift teams are core to our stores always being ready for our first customers of the day. They restock shelves, take in warehouse deliveries and help with overnight online picking. As a leader, you’ll stay connected to the day time leadership team to understand the on-going plans and priorities and make sure everything is set up and ready for our colleagues and customers in the morning.
We recognise that working at night isn’t for everyone and an additional annual premium of up to £4,500 is applied to salaries for nightshift management roles, where eligible.
Specifically, your role is to set the direction of travel in your area for the next 1-3 months.
