We are seeking a highly motivated recent graduate to join our group sustainability team as an Associate in Green Product Innovation. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing our environmental sustainability program, helping us achieve our sustainability goals and make a real impact for the environment.
This position provides a clear pathway for career growth and offers you the opportunity to play a central role in the evolution of our group sustainability function key in supporting the sustainable business transformation.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

Sustainable procurement: Experience with sustainable procurement programs and human rights impact assessments.
ESG Reporting: Experience or knowledge in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting.
Regulatory knowledge: Understanding of regulatory frameworks including CSRD, CSDDD and the German Supply Chain Act.
Supply chain knowledge: Good social insights in hot spots for industrial products e.g,., aluminum, steel, copper, electronics, Rare Earths, and conflict minerals.
Ecovadis insights: Knowledge of Ecovadis supplier sustainability assessment.
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
IT Skills: Knowledge to systems and data sources for risk assessments e.g., Maplecroft, BSR etc.
Commercial insights: Understand market dynamics to balance our sustainability roadmap and implementation
Project management: Skills in managing and leading cross-functional projects.
Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainable change.

Responsibilities:

Human rights impact assessments: Lead assessments to evaluate and mitigate human rights impacts across our company and supply chain.
Sustainable sourcing: Support the implement of a risk-based approach to ensure improved sustainable sourcing practices.
Supply Chain Code of Conduct: Support the improvement of our supply chain Code of Conduct to align with customer and regulatory requirements.
Climate Change Adaptation: Drive the inclusion of climate impact, risk and opportunities in supplier evaluation and engagement.
Contract sustainability clauses: As needed secure the develop and integration of sustainability clauses into supplier contracts.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I): Lead DE&I initiatives for own workforce and workers in the supply chain.
Project leadership: Lead projects aimed at enhancing sustainable procurement and human rights practices.
