Our Lead Operational Excellence Engineer will have full ownership for the execution of the Operational Excellence Roadmap across the full factory. This includes development and training of OpEx systems and offers an exciting chance to create real, positive change within the business by delivering year on year cost savings.
What will you be doing?
- In-direct people management of engineers assigned to the implementation of the OpEx business model.
- Accountable for year-on-year efficiency savings in line with business goals each year.
- Subject matter expert across Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Accountable for ensuring the Site Governance systems are in-line with OpEx best practices.
- Site Accountability for deployment and understanding of OpEx Systems within the Operating Model such as Kaizen, 5S, OEE, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Value Stream Mapping.
- Ensuring accuracy of manufacturing data such as BOMs and Recipes.
What does success look like?
Our successful candidate will be educated in a relevant subject area such as engineering, as well as specific project management certifications including Six Sigma etc.
This will be paired with extensive professional working experience in leading continuous improvement programmes across multiple businesses/sites and a demonstrated people focus and value driven approach.
They’ll be a hands-on person who is driven by achieving results and makes action and change implementation a top priority. They’ll have the capability to make change happen across functional and departmental boundaries by communicating clearly and with confidence.
