Description:

We are recruiting for a Lead Pharmacy Technician Stores and Distribution who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the operations and logistics of the purchasing, invoicing, stores and distribution services of the pharmacy department.
Lead, develop and maintain a working environment which encourages teamwork, mutual support and excellence in service delivery and reduces risks to a minimum.

Monitor contract compliance ensuring the Trust is purchasing the correct contract line from the correct supplier at the correct contract price in accordance with Pharmacy CIP criteria and KPI’s.
Ensure the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution service and all the staff who work in those areas comply with the terms of the Wholesaler dealers license granted by the MHRA / Good Distribution Practice.
Ensures all standard operating procedures reflect current practice; with regular review and update as appropriate, in line with governance requirements. Maintain and implement new procedures to reflect changes in service as required
Responsible for driving operational efficiencies within the pharmacy purchasing, invoicing, stores and distribution services.
