We’re looking for a valiant Lead PHP Developer to lead their own party of fearless developers into the depths of our codebase. This glorious quest is set to become a key part of our development team’s saga, and the bards will tell your tale for centuries.
As a Lead PHP Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our technical landscape, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to our mission of empowering in-game creators.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- 4+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel, with a deep understanding of development approaches and design patterns
- Proven experience mentoring and coaching junior developers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Proficiency in automated testing (PHPUnit, feature tests, etc.)
- Experience with code reviews, technical discussions, and team leadership
- Strong attention to detail and excellent planning skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong, unwavering spirit, able to resist the tempting whispers of cursed rings

In this role, you will:
- Develop robust PHP code to build new features and improve existing ones
- Hire, mentor and guide junior developers, providing code reviews and technical guidance
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to the development of our codebase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex problems
- Take ownership of a specific area of our codebase and lead a small team of developers
- Destroy the cursed PHP ring in the depths of Mount Tebex
