Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity in an expanding Rough Sleepers Team - then Look no further, the opportunity is here!
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with managerial experience and significant experience working with adults with mental health needs and a strong focus on quality improvement activities to support with the development and management of the Rough Sleepers Tri borough team. We are a specific team that supports people who are sleeping rough and who have mental health needs. We are however keen to expand our work to support those at risk of homelessness.
You will need to have well established leadership skills and experience in supervising staff within a multi-disciplinary clinical team, excellent communication and liaison skills and an ability to engage and develop partnership working with a number of colleagues and stakeholders across the services. You will need to have significant experience of working with adults with mental health needs, a strong clinical background and an understanding of the complex needs of working with homelessness. Also, the role entails significant engagement with community services and Local Authorities.
The successful candidate will be based within Ealing Acton MINT building but there is an expectation that you will travel around the 3 London Boroughs (H&F, Hounslow and Ealing).
This is an exciting development providing a much needed service. In addition to your established professional skills you will be a good communicator with a degree of flexibility and willingness to work with a number of agencies. We want someone who is willing to be ‘creative’, work outside the usual working hours and who has a strong desire to work with community partners and support people to be reintegrated into society. It would be beneficial for the individual to have a clear understanding of safeguarding adults.
The Team includes a Consultant Psychiatrist, a Social Worker (AMHP) and a Psychologist as well as an OT and Community Psychiatric Nurses. The team works closely together and offering regular MDT meetings, CIG and reflective practice.
