WeMaintain is looking for a Lead Product Designer to drive the design strategy and vision across our products. The Lead Product Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, software/hardware engineers, and stakeholders to develop innovative products in the world of real-estate and continue to expand our competitive edge in predictive maintenance and empowerment of field engineers

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Design Process: Own the entire design lifecycle, from ideation to execution, and including team training for the most impactful releases
- Product Vision and Strategy: Work closely with the product team to define and execute the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives, user needs, and design execution. Among other things, defining the vision of our new data services offering, Maximize, and how it will interact and work alongside our existing products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, software engineers and users to ensure product feasibility and alignment with business goals. Apply Shape Up principles to define project cycles, refine the bets, and maintain flexibility to adjust scope as needed.
- UX Research: Conduct user research with both our internal users (field engineers, operations managers, supply managers,…) and external users (Technical building managers, asset managers,…), refine personas, analyse feedback, and iterate on designs to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Design Systems: Establish and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all platforms and enhance collaboration between teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, clearly articulating design choices and ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Management & Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
