We are currently recruiting for 2 full time Disabled Children Practitioner to join our Disabled Children’s Service on a permanent basis.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with experience of working with children, young people, families, and communities to deliver a wide range of interventions.
Experience of working with multi-agency assessments and plans is also a must.
A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
The role of a Disabled Children’s Practitioner requires you to work flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
Working as a Disabled Children’s Practitioner is an exciting, interesting, and rewarding role. Your aim will be to deliver targeted support to vulnerable children and their families to achieve better outcomes and reduce the need for higher level support and long-term demand for services.
You will undertake early help assessments and co-ordinate and deliver interventions using a solution focussed approach. By building supportive and empowering relationships with families, you will engage parents through creative and innovative strategies, in line with partner agencies and organisations.
