Responsibilities:

WHAT THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Managing any bid or proposal activity associated with the programme, working closely with the Business Development function to determine strategy.
  • The Program Manager is responsible for schedule, cost and technical performance of multiple projects within the company.
  • Overall responsibility for their programme completing within time and budget, and meeting all customer requirements
  • Managing the programme budgets and monitoring/controlling all costs to stay within the assigned Programme Baseline Budget
  • Managing any third parties associated with the programme, including sub-contractors, suppliers and contract staff
  • Management of hardware or software development programmes

The role of Programme Manager requires the following experience and skills:

  • Experience within the Tactical communications and or defence industries.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and provide guidance and support to motivate individuals and the team
  • Project risk management techniques
  • Project financial management including costs, inventory and cash flo
