JOB POSTING
American National is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join the Service Oriented Architecture Team to develop integration solutions for the enterprise using IBM IIB/ACE and IBM API Connect technologies.
EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors’ degree in MIS, CIS or Computer Science preferred
- Object-oriented programming experience (Java, .NET) 6 years (Preferred)
- SQL, XML/JSON and Web Services (Soap and REST) 6 years (Preferred)
- IBM IIB/ACE or IBM API Connect experience 6 years (Preferred)
- IBM MQ experience a plus
- Strong written, verbal, customer service and analytical skills are necessary
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum is a plus
- Must be self-motivated, team oriented, and able to function successfully with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work occasional night and weekend hours

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement integration solutions using IBM IIB/ACE and IBM API Connect, adhering to best practices and standards
- Work with various teams to understand and develop the required integration solutions
- Ensure that integration solutions meet performance, scalability and security requirements
- Perform unit testing and debugging of integration solutions to ensure functionality and performance meet requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within a production environment
- Provide optimal Customer Service to all internal and external clientele
