We are offering a new opportunity to join the Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Talking Therapies Workforce Development Hub team. We are a high quality service providing clinical supervision, a centralised recruitment offer, CPD and staff wellbeing support.
It is an exciting time to join our service as the Lead Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), the role would ideally suit an experienced senior PWP looking to develop in their career. The post holder can expect a high level of support from the Senior Management team and opportunities for continuing professional development.
The Lead PWP will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance to our Step 2 team, in order to oversee the trainee PWP collaboration process. The Lead PWP will be instrumental in maintaining stakeholder relationships and being an advocate for best practice and wellbeing pertaining to the wider Step 2 workforce in Cheshire and Merseyside.
The Workforce Development Hub is a remote based service, however the successful candidate will be expected to attend in person meetings on occasion.
To ensure effective delivery of the Step 2 provision within the Workforce Development Hub and provide compassionate leadership to the Senior PWP team ensuring the well-being and resilience are maintained through line management. To support Senior PWP development within the service including co-ordinating training and clinical supervision, appraisals and continuous professional development (CPD).
To oversee the clinical supervision delivery to both trainee and qualified PWPs. Being the main point of contact with external services and universities.
To encourage best practice and provide support to the development of projects that enhance the competency of the Step 2 workforce. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across multiple trusts and providers, to adhere to a range of policies and procedures in line with the Talking Therapies Manual.
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.
