Lead Python Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Python Developer to join our team.
This role requires someone who is exceptionally skilled in Python development and has substantial experience in platform engineering, particularly with Azure. The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of Python applications, ensure the integration of platform best practices, and drive innovation in cloud solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of proven experience in Python development and platform engineering
• Proficiency in Python and knowledge of scripting languages like Bash
• Competency in programming frameworks and libraries such as Flask and Django
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
• Understanding of cloud services and architectures, with hands-on experience in Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills and capability to navigate fast-paced environments
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies beyond Kubernetes
• Advanced knowledge of network configurations and security practices in cloud platforms
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is recommended

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Python applications and services to enhance enterprise cloud capabilities
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the software delivery process
• Deploy and manage platform engineering solutions that ensure high availability and security
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive platform and application management
• Foster collaboration with DevOps and development teams to integrate platform engineering best practices
• Integrate security measures and best practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Enhance communication and collaboration tools and practices to boost team efficiency
• Participate in cloud solution architecture design to meet business and technical requirements
• Perform tuning and optimization of cloud resources and Python applications for optimal performance
• Promote the adoption of new technologies and practices for continuous improvement
• Document technical processes and procedures for transparency and knowledge transfer
• Actively participate in Agile Scrum and PI planning sessions to align with project goals
