Description:

We’re looking for a Lead QA to own, drive and develop QA practices at Good Sign. This is a new role within the organization so you will be evolving the QA function to boost the success of our product development.
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE & DAILY TASKS
As the Lead QA, you will be responsible for driving the creation and implementation of QA strategies, processes, and best practices. You will lead the QA in both test automation and manual testing efforts, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained across all product releases. You will collaborate closely with the Product team members and other key stakeholders to align testing practices with business needs and ensure continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and execution of test strategies, plans and test execution.
- Driving test automation efforts and expanding automation frameworks.
- Overseeing manual testing where necessary to ensure product quality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
- Continuously improving development and QA processes and tools.
- Being part of the scrum development team.
- Writing and maintaining automated tests in close collaboration with developers, while also mentoring and coaching team members
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- At least 5 years’ work experience in a similar QA role in software product development. Familiarity in fintech is considered as a plus.
- Previous work experience with API testing and CI/CD pipelines and manual testing.
- Previous experience in UI automation framework like Cypress/Playwright
- Good knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and QA functions within it.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred (We use stored procedures)
- Good communication skills and ability to discuss software design decisions.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Eagerness to learn new things and have a get things done attitude.
- Good initiative skills and the ability to work independently with minor supervision. Our team offers a lot of freedom and ownership.
- Fluent English communication skills
However, we acknowledge that finding a person who ticks every box is pretty challenging. That’s why we prefer an “If I don’t know, I’ll figure it out” -attitude over having a perfectly matching CV.
