How Will You Make an Impact? Working under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, responsibilities include performing activities related to environmental monitoring, bioburden, sterilization dose audits, and sterility testing. Support for product performance investigations and product release testing, including liquid particulate, endotoxin, RNase/DNase, and binding capacity, is required. Additionally, preparation of laboratory media, reagents, and solutions is vital.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct contamination and microbiological tests.
- Develop new testing techniques and tools.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and complaints.
- Conduct and assist in experimental evaluations.
- Validate test methods and equipment.
- Participate in audits.
- Maintain equipment calibration.
- Train colleagues and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of regulated quality systems like FDA, EU MDR or IVDR, or ISO is beneficial.

- Proficient in laboratory skills, documentation practices, and Microsoft Office
- Skilled in data interpretation, basic statistical analysis, and effective communication
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $25.58–$42.64.
