    New opportunity for a Lead Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our Future Hub – Risk transformation team, where you will support the transformation of the Bank’s risk and compliance management practices.

    As Lead Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will:

  • Support business leaders to own and drive the risk transformation within their respective business areas

  • Contribute to the design of the target state operational risk and compliance frameworks, policies and standards. Includes the target state risk governance model (3 Lines of Accountability), uplift in risk assessment, control assessment, issue and incident management practices
  • Provide subject matter expertise, coaching, training and/or guidance to support the business areas to implement (meet) the target uplift in risk management practices.
  • Engage extensively with the business, Line 1 and Line 2 (CRO) risk management teams during the design and implementation phases.
  • Support the preparation of reports, insights and updates to executives on the progress of design and implementation activities.

Your Background

  • 8 years + in a Line 1 or Line 2 operational risk and compliance role, preferably within Central Banking or Financial Services more broadly
  • Strong documentation, data analysis and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting a business and Line 2 stakeholders to strengthen risk management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate accountabilities and responsibilities in a mature 3 Lines of Accountability (3 Lines of Defence) model
  • Understanding of Bank-wide (or similar organisation) risk and compliance management frameworks, policies and standards
  • Demonstrated experience in constructively challenging and regularly influencing colleagues around risks, controls, incidents and compliance obligations
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, risk, compliance or related discipline.
