Our client, a pioneering company in custom automation for conveyor systems, is expanding their team due to rapid growth. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, technically driven engineer eager to tackle complex engineering challenges outside of management duties.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid experience in control and power electrical systems.
- Strong skills in PLC/HMI systems, particularly with ladder logic, GRAFCET, ST programming, and Beckhoff environments.
- R&D experience is required.
- A solid understanding of mechanical system fundamentals.
- Bilingual in English and French for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Automated Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Robotics Engineering.
- 2-7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive and team-focused mindset.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of innovation.
- Solide expérience en systèmes électriques de contrôle et de puissance.
- Compétences avancées en systèmes PLC/IHM, particulièrement en logique à relais (ladder logic), GRAFCET, programmation ST et environnements Beckhoff.
- Expérience en R&D requise.
- Compréhension approfondie des principes fondamentaux des systèmes mécaniques.
- Bilinguisme français-anglais pour une interaction efficace avec les parties prenantes.
- Baccalauréat dans des domaines tels que le génie de la production automatisée, le génie électrique, le génie mécatronique ou le génie robotique.
- 2 à 7 ans d’expérience pertinente en ingénierie.
- Capacité créative de résolution de problèmes avec un esprit proactif et axé sur le travail d’équipe.
- Aptitude à performer sous des délais serrés tout en maintenant un haut niveau d’innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical projects with a focus on PLC programming, IT systems administration, and overseeing electrical panel design.
- Contribute actively to research and development efforts, using CAD and lab testing to assess robotic system functionality.
- Work closely with various engineering teams (automation, software, electrical, mechanical) to develop advanced robotic solutions tailored for e-commerce garment handling.
- Provide ad-hoc support for the design and development of mechanical components in collaboration with the mechanical engineering team.
- Participate in team-based brainstorming sessions to foster innovation and address engineering challenges.
