Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Rust Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Rust RPOS and POS Basics along with a proven background in Supply Chain within the Consumer Goods sector. This role involves being responsible for product development ensuring high-quality standards and driving innovation to meet business objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the product engineering team to develop innovative solutions that meet business requirements.
- Lead all aspects of the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align product development with business goals.
- Ensure the implementation of standard methodologies in coding testing and deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality and performance through regular reviews and feedback.
- Handle project timelines resources and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members partners and management.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all product engineering activities.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
- Use expertise in Rust RPOS and POS Basics to take on sophisticated technical challenges.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- 8-12 Years of experience in Retail is required.
- Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience in Rust
- Lead and manage a team of Stores professionals
- Front end solutioning discussion on Stores with customers and other internal partners.
- Develop solutions & offerings in and around the Stores space
- Experience building Microservices in RUST
- Hands on experience in AWS serverless technologies like Lambda Functions, EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, SNS, SES
- Good debugging skills in RUST
- Knowledge on using VS code as an IDE for Rust Development
- Knowledge on CI/CD preferable Kraken
- Ability to do code reviews and identify performance bottle necks
