Description:
The Lead SDR is a newly created role that is key in helping the team succeed and enabling the company to grow and develop. At TympaHealth we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That is why we are seeking an experienced lead sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
SDR activities include, but are not limited to, outbound cold calling, social media outreach, coordinating sales strategies and plans with account executives, target account prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and post-event follow-up. The person we are looking for has grit and determination and knows how to be positive in the face of rejection. They must be self-motivated, organised, and have excellent communication skills. SDRs collaborate with sales leadership, sales representatives and marketing and must be adept at working as part of a team as well as independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilise Salesforce, cold calls and email to generate and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Respond to inbound sales leads and follow-up to nurture and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Develop positive rapport, create trust and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify the needs of prospects and clearly communicate the Tympa Health value proposition in addressing these needs.
- Set up meetings or calls between qualified (prospective) leads and account executives.
- Document client interaction and / or prospecting efforts in Salesforce.
- Research prospective clients through the use of web/social media, internal databases and external tools to identify leads.
The criteria by which you will be evaluated in the performance of your role includes:
- Number of calls made / emails sent.
- Number of meetings scheduled (with sales executives for qualified leads).
- Number of meetings attended.
- Pipeline generated from SDR activity
