We are looking for you,
Lead / Senior Training Solution Engineer
to join our Digital Training Solution Engineering team in Porvoo.
Our team is responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining Operator Training Simulators for all Neste premises around the world. We work closely with other Neste disciplinary teams. We offer you a challenging role with interesting and versatile tasks.

Responsibilities:

KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

  • Education level B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Process, Chemical, Automation or equivalent industry experience
  • Clear understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, datasheets , steady state and Dynamic models
  • 5+ years of working experience with one or more commercial dynamic simulation tool, like Dynsim or Hysys Dynamics or Aspen Plus Dynamics,…
  • Good understanding of simulating complex or large systems, chemical processes or process control
  • Knowledge and experience in various control systems and applications such as DCS, ESD, etc.
  • Technical leading experience with OTS projects, handling subcontractors and/or remote teams to maintain project schedule, budget & quality
  • Project Report writing skills
  • Strong team player able to work effectively with customers, multidisciplinary project teams and other departments within the company
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting & and problem-solving skills, quality oriented, logical & thorough
  • Excellent English language skills.

Your role in our team

  • To lead OTS projects, supporting simulation/modeling and other related implementation/commissioning tasks according to the agreed quality, scope, time and safety. At same time provide support to team member’s growth by sharing knowledge and coaching.
  • To lead the definition and deployment of new technologies, services & subcontractors by collaborating with stakeholders, partners and other disciplines.
  • To systematically implement and proactively develop our unit defined work methods and concepts.
  • Identify technical issues and obtain clarification.
  • Participate in OTS project validation and witness testing.
  • Work with an international team of talented experts from many different backgrounds, such as chemical engineering, automation engineering, and software development
